Laurent Majchrzak

Group Head of Digital Assets

Laurent Majchrzak is Global Head of Digital Assets at CACEIS and a member of the Group Management Committee, a position he has held since March 2024. He leads the digital assets business line launched by CACEIS at that date, which the firm describes as the first of its kind among European asset servicers. The business line covers the full service chain for digital assets, including custody of tokenised financial instruments, issuance and distribution of tokenised fund units, and associated compliance, legal and risk functions. CACEIS's digital asset custody infrastructure is built on Taurus technology and integrated into its core systems, with blockchain connectivity spanning Bitcoin, Ethereum and Polygon, and compliance monitoring provided by Scorechain.

Majchrzak joined CACEIS in 2006 in Luxembourg as Business Development Director. He subsequently served as Global Head of Fund Distribution Services, then as Global Head of Products within the group's 3D division covering digital, data and dissemination, and more recently as Group Head of Digital Transformation and Innovation before assuming his current role. Prior to CACEIS, he held positions in asset servicing at State Street Bank, Edmond de Rothschild Bank Europe and Brown Brothers Harriman, all based in Luxembourg. He is a graduate of ISC Business School in Paris and holds a certification from the INSEAD International Directors Programme. He is a certified director and member of the Luxembourg Institute of Directors and serves as a board member of Le Village by CA Luxembourg.
