Aleksandr Kretov is Head of Blockchain Development Department at Tinkoff, a position he has held since April 2025. Prior to these roles, he served as Head of Trading Desk at Tinkoff Capital from April 2024 to April 2025, where he managed a trading team, developed and implemented trading strategies, and built trading infrastructure. Before that, he was Portfolio Manager at Tinkoff Capital from May 2021 to April 2024, during which he launched ETFs on Russian stock markets, managed over $500 million in assets under management, traded equities and bonds on exchange and OTC markets, and developed stock market index methodologies. His total professional experience spans approximately nine years. He is based in Moscow.
