Allison Middleton is Media and Public Relations Specialist in the Governor's Office at the Central Bank of The Bahamas, a position she has held since February 2019. She serves as Communication Lead for The Bahamas' Digital Currency, the Sand Dollar, and supports other Central Bank public-facing initiatives. She is the longest-serving member of the Central Bank's project management team.

Prior to moving into communications, Middleton spent over a decade in the Central Bank's Information Technology Department, which she joined in 2006. She held roles there as Programmer, Senior System Administrator, and Senior Records Officer. Her career in IT spans approximately 25 years, beginning in the early 1990s, during which she worked in application support and training. She holds an honours degree in Software Engineering from the University of Advancing Technology in Tempe, Arizona, and a Master of Science in Strategic Communication from Purdue University's West Lafayette, Indiana campus.
