Alexis Borniche is Digital Assets - BNPP Global Markets - Managing Director at BNP Paribas CIB, a position he has held since August 2025. His mandate is focused on digital assets, tokenization, and blockchain within BNP Paribas Global Markets, based in Paris.

Borniche has spent the bulk of his career at BNP Paribas, accumulating over 17 years of experience across front office and capital markets functions. He also held a brief engineering role at Air International Transit in Sydney in 2006. He holds an MS in Quantitative Finance from emlyon business school, completed in 2009.

Erik Lenoir is Head of Technology, AssetFoundry at BNP Paribas CIB, a position he has held since September 2022, based in Paris. AssetFoundry is BNP Paribas CIB's tokenization platform, with a mandate to serve issuers and investors by enabling financial instrument tokenization through more granular issuances, embedding asset data such as ESG metrics, and integrating with the bank's systems for distribution and custody. The platform is described as a next-generation originate-to-distribute platform built in close collaboration with business lines, legal, IT, and compliance functions.

Lenoir's technical focus spans application security, cloud infrastructure, blockchain, data and analytics, DevSecOps, FinOps, performance optimization, and regulatory compliance. He holds certifications including AWS Security – Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, R3 Corda Developer, Elastic Engineer, DPO, and PRINCE2. Prior to his current role, he worked within BNP Paribas CIB's 021 Exploration Engineering team from January 2020 to November 2022, where he framed and developed MVPs for high-value projects using a lean startup approach. He held earlier roles in the bank's IT Digital Accelerator and Fast IT units between 2018 and 2019. His total professional experience spans approximately 14 years. He writes occasionally for French technology publications including Programmez! and MISC, and gives conferences. His education is from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers.

Julien Clausse is Head of AssetFoundry (Digital Assets & Tokenization) at BNP Paribas CIB, a position he has held since September 2022. AssetFoundry is BNP Paribas CIB's digital assets tokenization platform. Publicly documented initiatives include the tokenization of money market fund shares on the public Ethereum blockchain in a permissioned access model, and work on tokenizing financing on the unlisted bond market, specifically targeting transactions below €20 million not typically covered by the bank. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Manaos, a sustainable investment services platform, a role he has held since July 2019.

Prior to leading AssetFoundry, Clausse held two successive roles at BNP Paribas CIB: Head of 021 Exploration Engineering (January 2020 to September 2022) and Head of IT Digital Accelerator (February 2018 to January 2020). Before joining BNP Paribas, he was at Amadeus IT Group, where he served as Head of Open Innovation from May 2015 and subsequently as Head of Moonshot Innovation from November 2016 to January 2018. He also taught creativity for business at SKEMA Business School between October 2016 and October 2018. Earlier career positions include marketing and software roles at companies including Intelligent Systems, Altran, Siemens, and Insignia Solutions, with his career in the sector dating back to 1998. He holds a degree from CentraleSupélec and is based in Paris.

Natacha Dezert is Digital Strategy and Transformation – Blockchain and Digital Assets Program Manager at BNP Paribas Securities Services, based in Paris, a position she has held since February 2018. In this role, she leads blockchain projects including a CBDC program with Banque de France, a stablecoin project with Caisse des Dépôts, and initiatives named RegistrAccess and TaxGrid. She is also responsible for the follow-up and development of BNP Paribas Securities Services ventures including LiquidShare and AlterAssets Technologies, conducts market and competitor monitoring, contributes to the definition of digital strategy and services, and represents the firm in market groups including LabChain and the AFTI innovation and new technologies working group.

Dezert has spent her entire career at BNP Paribas Securities Services. Prior to her current role, she served as Project Manager from January 2011 to July 2017, covering regulatory and market infrastructure projects including T2S, European Commission standards for corporate actions processing, and the Financial Transaction Tax, coordinating implementation across 28 markets. From August to January 2018, she carried out a fixed-term project manager mission in Hong Kong focused on migrating fund services from Europe to Asia for APAC clients, coordinating across Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, Dublin, and Luxembourg. Earlier, she headed the Corporate Actions Processing Team from March 2009 to December 2010, managing a team of 12 and overseeing processing across more than 90 markets. She joined BNP Paribas Securities Services in September 2005 as a Corporate Actions Processor on Euronext markets. Her total experience at the firm spans nearly 21 years. She holds a degree from IGR-IAE Rennes.

Sandip Wadje is Managing Director and Global Head of Emerging Technology Operational Risks Intelligence at BNP Paribas, a position he has held since September 2017. Based in London, he leads governance and oversight of emerging technology domains including Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Assets, Threat Intelligence, and Insider Threat, operating within Group Operational Risk Management. On digital assets specifically, his work encompasses the security and risk dimensions of blockchain infrastructure, including cross-institutional dependencies and public cloud exposure inherent to that technology. He co-chairs the European Financial Services Round Table (EFR) Cyber Experts Group and serves as a member of the Financial Services Advisory Group at the European Cybercrime Centre (EC3).

Wadje has 23 years of experience across Cyber Security, Operational Risk, IT Risk, Internal Controls, and Compliance. Prior to BNP Paribas, he held a position at BT Security Europe covering Continental Europe financial services accounts, and before that served as Enterprise Account Manager at RiskIQ. He spent approximately five years at KPMG LLP UK across roles including Assistant Manager and Manager, and prior to that held positions at Dell SecureWorks as Principal Security Consultant, JPMorgan Chase as Process Manager in IT Risk Management, Deloitte as Senior Analyst in Audit Enterprise Risk Services, and Nevis Networks as IT Network Administrator. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications and holds CISSP and CISA certifications. He has spoken at Cybertech Global Tel Aviv 2023.

Sitansu Sahoo is Global Blockchain & Digital Assets Lead, CIB ITO at BNP Paribas, based in London. In this role, he leads blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT) digital transformation for the Corporate and Institutional Banking division. He has established the strategic vision and global positioning for blockchain at BNP Paribas and set up organisation-wide governance for DLT.

Prior to BNP Paribas, Sahoo held a role at Northern Trust where he led digital transformation and launched what he describes as the first commercial Private Equity blockchain product. Earlier in his career he held positions at Citi, where he conducted due diligence for the acquisition of ABN Custody and delivered the subsequent business and technology integration, and also managed integration following the acquisition of Bank Handlowy. He has also held roles at NBAD, where he established an operational risk framework described as five pillars. Across his career he has implemented custody products across 20 markets globally and has managed stakeholders at CXO level, including Presidents and Chief Digital Officers. His stated areas of specialism include blockchain, AI/ML, cloud-based digital transformation, programme and project management, regulatory compliance across EMEA and the US, and post-merger integration. He has over 28 years of experience in financial services, general management, and technology.

Stefan Brinaru is Head of Digital Assets at BNP Paribas Asset Management, a position he has held since June 2024. Prior to this role, he served at the same firm as Digital Strategy Investment Lead for Blockchain and AI from August 2021 to June 2024, giving him close to four years of accumulated focus on digital asset strategy and blockchain within the organisation.

Before joining BNP Paribas Asset Management, Brinaru worked at BNP Paribas as a Financial Inspector within Inspection Générale from September 2018 to August 2021. Earlier in his career, he spent approximately four years at EY in Paris as an auditor and consultant within the Financial Services practice, working with clients including Crédit Agricole CIB, Crédit Agricole Indosuez Wealth, Covéa, and BNP Paribas. He began his career as a junior consultant at CGI Business Consulting, with assignments at AXA IM and Assurances du Crédit Mutuel. Brinaru holds a Master in Management from ESCP Business School, completed an exchange programme in Corporate Finance at City St George's, University of London, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL. He also holds certifications in blockchain and sustainability for business.

Wayne Hughes is Head of Digital Assets at BNP Paribas Securities Services, where he works with stakeholders across domains and with the CIB and Securities Services Digital teams to drive the firm's strategy and client offering in digital assets. Prior to this role, he was Head of Data and Digital for Financial Intermediaries & Corporates at Securities Services, BNP Paribas, where he defined the short and long-term roadmap of the bank's digital strategy and managed digital initiatives from a product perspective, identifying opportunities to enhance service quality and develop new businesses through digital. He has reposted institutional communications on BNP Paribas Asset Management's tokenisation activity, including the issuance of a tokenised share class of a French-domiciled money market fund recorded on public blockchain infrastructure via the bank's in-house tokenisation platform, AssetFoundry.

Hughes joined JP Morgan in 1994 within the IT department of their securities services business, then transferred with that business to Paribas and subsequently BNP Paribas. He has held management roles including Head of Product and Project teams in Spain, Head of Operations and IT in Spain, and Head of Retail Outsourcing. He has more than 25 years of experience in the securities post-trade industry. He is a graduate of Asbury University.
