Alexis Borniche

Digital Assets - BNPP Global Markets - Managing Director

Erik Lenoir

Head of Technology, AssetFoundry (Tokenization & Digital Assets Platform)

Erik Lenoir is Head of Technology, AssetFoundry at BNP Paribas CIB, a position he has held since September 2022, based in Paris. AssetFoundry is BNP Paribas CIB's tokenization platform, with a mandate to serve issuers and investors by enabling financial instrument tokenization through more granular issuances, embedding asset data such as ESG metrics, and integrating with the bank's systems for distribution and custody. Julien Clausse

Head of AssetFoundry (Digital Assets & Tokenization Platform)

Julien Clausse is Head of AssetFoundry (Digital Assets & Tokenization) at BNP Paribas CIB, a position he has held since September 2022. AssetFoundry is BNP Paribas CIB's digital assets tokenization platform. He also taught creativity for business at SKEMA Business School between October 2016 and October 2018. Earlier career positions include marketing and software roles at companies including Intelligent Systems, Altran, Siemens, and Insignia Solutions, with his career in the sector dating back to 1998. Natacha Dezert

Digital Strategy and Transformation - Blockchain and Digital Assets program manager

Natacha Dezert is Digital Strategy and Transformation – Blockchain and Digital Assets Program Manager at BNP Paribas Securities Services, based in Paris, a position she has held since February 2018. Prior to her current role, she served as Project Manager from January 2011 to July 2017, covering regulatory and market infrastructure projects including T2S, European Commission standards for corporate actions processing, and the Financial Transaction Tax, coordinating implementation across 28 markets. From August to January 2018, she carried out a fixed-term project manager mission in Hong Kong focused on migrating fund services from Europe to Asia for APAC clients, coordinating across Hong Kong, Singapore, Paris, Dublin, and Luxembourg. Earlier, she headed the Corporate Actions Processing Team from March 2009 to December 2010, managing a team of 12 and overseeing processing across more than 90 markets. She joined BNP Paribas Securities Services in September 2005 as a Corporate Actions Processor on Euronext markets. Her total experience at the firm spans nearly 21 years. She holds a degree from IGR-IAE Rennes.

Sandip Wadje

Managing Director- Global Head of Emerging Technology Risks

Sandip Wadje is Managing Director and Global Head of Emerging Technology Operational Risks Intelligence at BNP Paribas, a position he has held since September 2017. Based in London, he leads governance and oversight of emerging technology domains including Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Assets, Threat Intelligence, and Insider Threat, operating within Group Operational Risk Management. He spent approximately five years at KPMG LLP UK across roles including Assistant Manager and Manager, and prior to that held positions at Dell SecureWorks as Principal Security Consultant, JPMorgan Chase as Process Manager in IT Risk Management, Deloitte as Senior Analyst in Audit Enterprise Risk Services, and Nevis Networks as IT Network Administrator. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunications and holds CISSP and CISA certifications. He has spoken at Cybertech Global Tel Aviv 2023.

Sitansu Sahoo

Sitansu Sahoo is Global Blockchain & Digital Assets Lead, CIB ITO at BNP Paribas, based in London. In this role, he leads blockchain and distributed ledger technology (DLT) digital transformation for the Corporate and Institutional Banking division. Across his career he has implemented custody products across 20 markets globally and has managed stakeholders at CXO level, including Presidents and Chief Digital Officers. His stated areas of specialism include blockchain, AI/ML, cloud-based digital transformation, programme and project management, regulatory compliance across EMEA and the US, and post-merger integration. He has over 28 years of experience in financial services, general management, and technology.

Stefan Brinaru

Head of Digital Assets

Stefan Brinaru is Head of Digital Assets at BNP Paribas Asset Management, a position he has held since June 2024. Prior to this role, he served at the same firm as Digital Strategy Investment Lead for Blockchain and AI from August 2021 to June 2024, giving him close to four years of accumulated focus on digital asset strategy and blockchain within the organisation.

Before joining BNP Paribas Asset Management, Brinaru worked at BNP Paribas as a Financial Inspector within Inspection Générale from September 2018 to August 2021. Earlier in his career, he spent approximately four years at EY in Paris as an auditor and consultant within the Financial Services practice, working with clients including Crédit Agricole CIB, Crédit Agricole Indosuez Wealth, Covéa, and BNP Paribas. He began his career as a junior consultant at CGI Business Consulting, with assignments at AXA IM and Assurances du Crédit Mutuel. Brinaru holds a Master in Management from ESCP Business School, completed an exchange programme in Corporate Finance at City St George's, University of London, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL. He also holds certifications in blockchain and sustainability for business.

Wayne Hughes

Head of Digital Assets

Wayne Hughes is Head of Digital Assets at BNP Paribas Securities Services, where he works with stakeholders across domains and with the CIB and Securities Services Digital teams to drive the firm's strategy and client offering in digital assets. Prior to this role, he was Head of Data and Digital for Financial Intermediaries & Corporates at Securities Services, BNP Paribas, where he defined the short and long-term roadmap of the bank's digital strategy and managed digital initiatives from a product perspective, identifying opportunities to enhance service quality and develop new businesses through digital. He has reposted institutional communications on BNP Paribas Asset Management's tokenisation activity, including the issuance of a tokenised share class of a French-domiciled money market fund recorded on public blockchain infrastructure via the bank's in-house tokenisation platform, AssetFoundry.

Hughes joined JP Morgan in 1994 within the IT department of their securities services business, then transferred with that business to Paribas and subsequently BNP Paribas. He has held management roles including Head of Product and Project teams in Spain, Head of Operations and IT in Spain, and Head of Retail Outsourcing. He has more than 25 years of experience in the securities post-trade industry. He is a graduate of Asbury University.
