Arnaud Dubreuil

Arnaud Dubreuil is Director of Innovation at Ingenico, a position he has held since August 2023. In this role he leads Ingenico Labs, a unit focused on identifying market friction and developing payment solutions anticipated to become industry standards within a three-to-five year horizon. His work involves building, field-testing with merchants, and measuring adoption of new payment formats. His current focus is stablecoins as an in-store payment method: following earlier pilots of cryptocurrency acceptance in partnership with Binance and Crypto.com, he identified two structural barriers to broad adoption — the reluctance of crypto holders to spend appreciating assets, and the accounting complexity created for merchants receiving volatile assets. These findings prompted a pivot to stablecoins, which Ingenico Labs is actively testing with a selection of merchants ahead of a planned production rollout. He is also working on wallet interoperability via WalletConnect.

Prior to his current title, Dubreuil served as Director of New Generation Offering within Ingenico Innovation from January 2018 to July 2023. Before joining Ingenico, he was President of Netsize Payment, a Gemalto company operating under a French PSP financial licence, from March to December 2017. He spent the preceding six years at Gemalto, first as Project Director managing an international team of project managers across Europe, then as Payment Marketing Director heading the mobile payment product marketing group at Netsize, covering card payment processing and acquiring, mobile network operator billing, and internet service provider billing. His professional background spans B2B2C product management, go-to-market strategy, business development, and complex project management in services and software.
