Boonthep Techarungruangkit

Boonthep Techarungruangkit is VP – IT Strategic Planning and Governance Division, Blockchain Tech at Bank of Ayudhya (Krungsri Bank), a position he has held since October 2017. His current role sits within the Engineering and Technical department at the Vice President level, with an explicit focus on blockchain technology alongside IT strategic planning and governance.

Prior to his current position, Boonthep held a VP-level role at Krungsri from July 2010 to April 2017, covering IT for Finance, Market and Liquidity, and Consumer Credit Risk Technology. Before joining Krungsri, he worked at Accenture twice — as a Consultant from April 2000 to July 2005 in Bangkok, and as a Contractor from March 2007 to November 2009. Between those two Accenture engagements, he served as Regional Development Network Manager at Amadeus Asia Limited from October 2005 to February 2007. His total professional experience spans over 24 years. His technical skills include Oracle Database, blockchain, requirements analysis, data migration, and ETL. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Mahidol University International College, completed between 1996 and 2000.
