Carol C Khuzwayo

Carol C. Khuzwayo is Senior Manager: Blockchain Delivery at Standard Bank Group, a position she has held since October 2021. In this role she is responsible for managing the bank's blockchain platform and the implementation of blockchain solutions. Prior to this, she served as Senior Manager: SAP Migration from January 2020 to September 2021, where she was accountable for defining business requirements from a client and business perspective, managing requirements, and designing solutions to enable the migration of accounts from legacy systems to SAP Banking Services, in line with Standard Bank's digital business services and technology modernisation strategy.

Her earlier career at Standard Bank includes six years and nine months as Product Owner from March 2013 to December 2019, during which she led a functional team that rationalised 1,465 Customer Leads Managed and Query Resolution processes into 10 processes, delivered SAP Leads Management and Query Resolution solutions, and delivered seven strategic SAP Investments products that attracted R36 billion in deposits over two years. She also developed a customised Systems Development Life Cycle methodology that was instrumental in delivering the first Savings Products on the SAP platform. From April 2010 to April 2013 she worked as a Business Analyst, contributing to what is described as the first Banking Services Loans management solution implemented globally, with responsibilities covering scope, budget, resources, risks, and functional specifications. She holds an Honours degree in Business/Commerce from the University of South Africa and an MBA. Her total stated experience spans 23 years.
