Chris Mills

Chris Mills is Chief Commercial Officer at Sage Capital Management, a digital prime broker, a position he has held since January 2026. Prior to that, he served as Head of Digital Assets at the same firm from May 2025, where he was responsible for overseeing digital trading and liquidity distribution and supporting the company's global expansion. He reports directly to CEO and Founder Nathan Sage.

Mills joined Sage Capital Management from JB Drax Honore, where he held roles in digital asset sales and execution from October 2022 before becoming Co-Head of Digital Assets in February 2025, with responsibilities covering product development and trade execution across spot and derivatives. Before entering the digital assets space, he spent 18 years at the Bank of England, primarily as an FX and Money Markets Dealer from September 2014 to October 2022. In that role he managed foreign exchange risk across two balance sheets — the Bank of England and the UK Treasury — trading FX spot, FX swaps, FX forwards, repo, bills, commercial paper, and time deposits, and producing daily market intelligence reports covering FX, money markets, commodities, and emerging markets for senior Bank and government staff. Earlier positions at the Bank included a role in customer relations and accounts management from 2004 to 2012.
