Director Financial Planning & Analysis - Digital Assets
Christopher Saksa is Director, Financial Planning & Analysis – Digital Assets at Nasdaq, a role he has held since December 2022 and is based in the New York City metropolitan area. In this position, he serves as the primary financial advisor for the Digital Assets business unit, leading month-end close, financial reporting, planning, and forecasting cycles, including monthly reviews, long-range planning, and periodic forecasts. He works directly with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategy, evaluate the financial impact of strategic and operational plans, and apply data-driven analysis to support decision-making and performance evaluation. He also manages and develops a team, setting direction and deploying resources across projects.
Prior to his current role, Saksa spent six years at Nasdaq as a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist, where he managed monthly accounting close and forecast processes, collaborated with business partners on variance analysis across sales, revenue, headcount, and capital expenditure, and communicated financial results to senior managers. His total professional experience spans approximately 15 years. He holds degrees from two Jesuit institutions.
Head of Digital Asset Strategy
Matthew Savarese is Global Head of Strategy and Head of Digital Assets Strategy at Nasdaq, holding both roles concurrently from his base in New York. He has served as Global Head of Strategy since May 2020 and took on the Head of Digital Assets Strategy mandate in March 2022. He has also held the title of Vice President, Corporate Strategy M&A at Nasdaq since October 2011, giving him over fourteen years of continuous tenure at the firm across strategy and M&A functions.
Outside Nasdaq, Savarese serves as a Board Observer at Dealpath, a real estate deal management software company, a role he has held since November 2020. Since February 2024, he has sat on the Advisory Board of Lockchain.ai, a blockchain-focused AI risk management company. Earlier in his career, he was a Director at Alvarez & Marsal from January 2010 to October 2011, and prior to that spent approximately five and a half years as a Manager at KPMG Transactions & Restructuring, from July 2004 to March 2010. He holds a degree in Accounting and Economics from Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management.

VP Product Strategy, Head of Digital Asset Solutions, Capital Markets Technology
Sophie Marnhier-Foy is VP Product Strategy, Head of Digital Asset Solutions, Capital Markets Technology at Nasdaq, a role she assumed in January 2026. In this position she leads digital asset solutions within Nasdaq's Capital Markets Technology business, specifically under the Nasdaq Calypso platform. Prior to this appointment, she served as VP and Head of Client Solutions Strategy within Nasdaq's Financial Technology division, a role she held from September 2003 through January 2026. She also serves as Chair of the Calypso Central Counterparty (CCP) Roundtable and Central Bank Forum.
Marnhier-Foy joined Nasdaq as part of its 2023 acquisition of Adenza, where she had been Global Head of Product Marketing. Before Adenza, she spent approximately five years at Calypso Technology across several roles, including Global Commercial Product Manager, Director of Product Management, and Head of Product Marketing, focusing on regulatory risk, counterparty risk, clearing risk, margin services, and cloud innovation. Her areas of expertise include market infrastructure, digital assets, derivatives, and central banks. Prior to Calypso, she worked at Calyon, now Crédit Agricole CIB, in New York and Paris, where she served as a capital markets program manager for three years and as a risk and results controller for four years. She began her career as a bank auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Paris. She holds a degree from emlyon business school.
