Cody Gilbert

Cody Gilbert is Senior Vice President, Blockchain Engineering Tech Lead at iCapital, a position he has held since December 2023. In this role he leads blockchain and backend engineering for iCapital's iDLT Alternative Investments Platform, a mandate he carried from his preceding Vice President-level appointment in the same function beginning July 2023. Prior to moving into blockchain engineering, he served as Vice President, Data Platform Lead at iCapital from August 2022 to July 2023, where he led a team of data engineers responsible for implementing, expanding, and maintaining cloud-based data warehousing, pipelining, and orchestration using AWS and Snowflake infrastructure.

Before joining iCapital, Gilbert was a Staff Data Engineer at SIMON Markets LLC from September 2020 to August 2022. His professional background also includes a period as a Nuclear Engineer.
