Dennis O'Connell

Dennis O'Connell is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Peregrine Limited, a financial services firm headquartered in Abu Dhabi building an AI-powered digital asset management platform. Peregrine has signed over $2.5 billion of institutional-grade assets under contract for tokenisation. O'Connell has held the role since August 2022.

Concurrently, he serves as Strategic Advisor for Digital Assets at the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a position he has held since January 2024, focused on digital asset infrastructure for institutional use cases. He is also Partner CTO at PSG Digital, a boutique firm specialising in digital assets and blockchain technology. Since 2023, he has served as President of the ERC3643 Association. Earlier roles include Global Director of Blockchain and Innovation and Director of DeFi Products at Securrency, Director of Advanced Technologies at BNY Pershing, Vice President and Senior Principal Developer in Collateral Technology at BNY Pershing, and Senior Global Architect at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. He also served as Senior Advisor on Tokenization at Matic Network from 2023 to 2024. O'Connell holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The College of New Jersey.
