Edd Carlton

Edd Carlton is Managing Director – Digital Assets at Aurel Partners – a division of BGC, a role he has held since March 2024 and is based in London. Prior to joining Aurel Partners, Carlton spent nearly five years at Flow Traders as Institutional Sales – Digital Assets, from May 2019 to February 2024. Flow Traders is a technology-enabled liquidity provider historically focused on Exchange Traded Products that has expanded into additional asset classes including digital assets.

Earlier in his career, Carlton served as Global Head of OTC Trading and Primary Listings at BlockEx from September 2017 to February 2019, and as Head of OTC Trading at Bitstocks from May 2016 to August 2017, giving him direct operational experience across OTC trading and digital asset markets from an early stage of the industry. Before moving into digital assets, he spent four years as a Capital Markets Consultant at CPG Consulting, where his work focused on structuring and capital raising across debt, private equity, and mezzanine finance. He began his career as an Analyst Consultant at Accenture from 2009 to 2011. His total professional experience spans approximately 13 years.
