Embert Lin is Director, Crypto Derivatives OTC Trader at GSR, a crypto trading firm and liquidity provider headquartered in London. He was promoted to Director in February 2026, having previously held the position of VP, Crypto Derivatives OTC Trader at the firm since July 2021. His work at GSR is focused on cryptocurrency derivatives and OTC trading.

Prior to joining GSR, Lin spent four years at Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank in New York as an Exotic Equity Derivatives Trader from July 2017 to July 2021. Earlier in his career, he completed a Sales and Trading summer internship at Barclays in London in 2016 and a GAA Quant Investment internship at Putnam Investments in Boston in 2015. He holds a degree from NYU Stern School of Business, where he studied from 2013 to 2017.
