Felix Bekemeier

Felix Bekemeier is Associate Director, Deputy Head of Digital Assets at Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe, a position he has held since May 2024. Within the bank, he holds the title of Head of Digital Securities, with a stated focus on digital assets as an investment category. He has been quoted in the context of the bank's Family Office network on the relevance of digital assets to investment portfolios.

Prior to his current role, Bekemeier worked in management consulting as an expert in digital strategy and transformation. His academic work on blockchain technology was conducted in association with the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center and has been cited in publications including Capital and Tagesspiegel, as well as by the research department of the German Parliament. He holds a PhD candidacy with a focus on blockchain, DeFi insurance, and risk management, and is a Lecturer and Module Coordinator in Economics at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, a role he has held since June 2022. He also serves as a Council Member for Blockchain Technology at GLG, a position held since April 2021. His academic background includes study periods in Sweden, England, and Italy, and a research stay in Silicon Valley. He was awarded a scholarship from the Studienstiftung, the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, during his studies.
