Francisco Cuadros Ponce

Francisco Cuadros Ponce is Investment Principal, Digital Assets Research at Tritemius, a venture builder and venture capital firm focused on web3 and digital assets, a role he has held since June 2024. In this position, he leads digital assets research and investment strategies with a focus on liquid tokens and DeFi, conducting market analysis, fundamental valuation, and developing crypto investment models. He holds the Certified Blockchain Analyst (CBA) designation alongside the CFA charter, and applies his engineering background to assess the technical and economic viability of blockchain and crypto projects.

Prior to Tritemius, Cuadros Ponce co-founded and served as co-CEO of an online travel company that reached over $20M in turnover by 2019, where he managed a multinational team across Spain and Argentina and developed data-driven algorithmic sales strategies. In 2020, he negotiated a multi-million M&A transaction with a private equity fund; the process was halted during due diligence due to the pandemic, and operations closed in 2021. Since then, he has focused on finance and investments spanning stocks, bonds, derivatives, alternative assets, and cyclicals, with a specialisation in digital assets and fundamental investment analysis. He also manages his own investment portfolio, reporting outperformance of major stock indices over a five-year period. He is based in Madrid.
