François Laviale

François Laviale is Managing Partner and Head of Investments at Alphacap Digital Assets, a Paris-based portfolio management firm specialising in digital assets that he co-founded in September 2021. In this role, he leads investment management and is responsible for providing investment vehicles giving exposure to digital asset markets for family offices, high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and institutional investors. The firm's approach combines active, diversified portfolio management grounded in fundamental analysis with the standards of traditional asset management.

Laviale's involvement in digital assets predates Alphacap by several years. From 2015 to 2016 he mined Bitcoin, and from 2015 to 2021 he actively traded digital assets managing his own portfolio. Prior to founding Alphacap, he worked as a Product Specialist at La Financière de l'Échiquier (formerly Tocqueville Finance) from July 2019 to September 2021, where he was involved with European equity funds. He holds a degree from Institut Supérieur de Gestion in Paris and obtained a Blockchain certification from LinkedIn Learning in June 2019.
