Freddy Arévalo García

Freddy Arévalo García is Director de Transformación Tecnológica at Bantrab, a position he has held since April 2025. Bantrab is a Guatemalan bank focused on serving workers, offering credit, savings, and investment products.

Alongside his role at Bantrab, Arévalo serves as a Blockchain Consultant at Centro de Arbitraje IBT, a Panama-headquartered institution operating across Latin America that focuses on blockchain and technology dispute resolution. He has held that consulting position since April 2022. He is also a Professor at Universidad Francisco Marroquín in Guatemala City, where he has taught since January 2009, and a Co-Founder of ICO Supplies, a consulting venture he established in January 2007. His professional background spans over 30 years and includes entrepreneurship and roles within multinational companies, with regional exposure across Latin America in the IT industry. He completed a Master in Digital Transformation of Finance at the Universitat de Barcelona between 2023 and 2024.
