General Manager of Business Transformation/Digital Factory/Customer Support
Christophe Descohand is Directeur Général, Directeur Business Transformation & Digitalisation at La Française AM Finance Services, a position he has held since 2024. In his current mandate, he is responsible for pivoting the group's asset management operations across both portfolio management and distribution, in France and internationally. He leads the development of online asset management platforms, analytical and modelling tools, risk management systems, and digital platforms targeting institutional clients, independent financial advisers, and retail investors. His stated areas of focus include fintech, digital assets, blockchain, and DeFi. In 2023, La Française selected Allfunds Blockchain to rationalise its international fund distribution, an initiative falling within his area of responsibility.
Descohand joined La Française in 2005 as Head of Marketing, later becoming Directeur du Développement de la Gestion Privée in 2012, then Directeur Général of CD Partenaires, a group subsidiary. In 2016, he founded and took the helm of Moniwan, a digital investment distribution platform described as fully oriented toward client experience, with a focus on making savings products accessible to a broader public. He assumed the direction of La Française's Innovative Platform in 2019 before taking his current role in 2024. Prior to joining La Française, he began his career in 1999 at Société Générale Asset Management in the marketing department, then moved to Société Générale Private Banking as Head of Real Estate Offer in 2005. He holds a Master in Finance from IPAG Business School.
