VP, Head of Americas - Digital Assets
Bryce Jurss is VP, Head of Americas – Digital Assets at Nuvei, a role he has held since January 2024. In this position, he leads the distribution, strategy, and growth of Nuvei's digital asset products and services across North American and Latin American markets. He also serves concurrently as a Payment Growth Advisor at the Starknet Foundation, advising on growth strategy and payment solutions, a role he began in July 2025.
Jurss has been publicly vocal on the role of stablecoins in B2B payments, arguing that their primary value lies not in wholesale replacement of existing rails but in targeted application to cross-border flows involving multiple intermediaries — including use cases such as marketplace payouts to airlines and online travel agencies. He has cautioned against the assumption that stablecoins automatically reduce costs in all scenarios, emphasising disciplined identification of where they outperform legacy systems. He has spoken at events including Consensus, Circle Stablecoin Day, and PayFi Summit, and has been cited in PYMNTS on multiple occasions. Prior to Nuvei, he worked on Visa's Global Crypto Products team, where he co-invented six blockchain patents covering areas including single-use digital assets, cross-border stablecoin remittance, non-custodial wallets, smart contract verification, and credential-based blockchain transactions. Earlier in his career he built an AI-powered SMS payment platform called The Odyssey Project, which was developed via Visa Fintech Fast Track and later published as a peer-reviewed case study in MIS Quarterly Executive. He holds a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from UT Austin McCombs, where he was recognised as an outstanding student, and a Bachelor of Science from Baylor University.
