Ian Graham

Ian Graham is US Blockchain & Digital Assets (LEAP) Advisory Leader at Lockton, based in Washington, DC. He leads the US arm of Lockton's Emerging Asset Protection (LEAP) team, a specialized global group focused on insurance and risk management solutions for companies operating in the blockchain and digital asset space. The LEAP team covers financial and management liability lines including directors and officers liability, errors and omissions, cyber, crime, specie/custody coverage, and slashing/staking insurance, among others. Graham is a named contact for LEAP's published guidance on risk and insurance strategy for digital asset treasury companies.

Graham has been with Lockton since 2014, progressing from Account Manager in Lockton Financial Services to Account Executive and AVP in Financial Institutions, then Vice President in Financial Institutions from 2019 to 2022. In January 2022 he moved into a dedicated digital asset role as Digital Asset Blockchain Team Leader for Lockton Northeast, before being appointed Senior Vice President and Digital Asset LEAP Team Lead in July 2022. Prior to Lockton, he spent four years as a Commercial Underwriter at Hanover Insurance from 2010 to 2014. He holds a BS in Finance and Marketing from Boston College, earned in 2010.
