Jigna Gibb is Head of Commodities and Digital Assets Indices at Bloomberg, with responsibility spanning commodities and crypto index products. Her mandate covers index development and product management across real assets and digital asset classes. She has authored Bloomberg Professional articles on commodities, digital assets, and index strategy, including a June 2025 piece demystifying digital asset fundamentals and a December 2024 analysis of real assets as inflation hedges. A May 2025 article introduced the "Rainbow Trend" framework, applying differentiated lookback windows across commodity sectors within the Bloomberg Enhanced Roll Yield (BERY) index family.

In digital assets, Gibb has written directly on cryptocurrency fundamentals, blockchain consensus mechanisms, staking, stablecoins, and the use of indices for digital asset allocations. She participated as a panelist at SRP Europe 2026, where the discussion addressed quantitative investment strategies, index evolution, the convergence of QIS and structured products, standardisation versus hyper-customisation, and the role of AI. Her institutional commentary addresses both commodity futures indices, including BCOM and BERY, and the growing integration of digital assets into multi-asset portfolios.
