Jon Herrick

Jon Herrick is Chief Product Officer at NYSE, part of Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE: ICE), a role he has held since October 2023. He is responsible for product development and innovation across all areas of the exchange's business, overseeing NYSE's transactions and market data businesses and driving competitive strategy and distribution. Herrick is directly involved in NYSE's development of a 24/7 digital trading venue designed to bring tokenized equities into a regulated, always-on marketplace. The platform integrates NYSE's Pillar technology with blockchain-based settlement to enable instant trading against stablecoins, targeting both retail and institutional participants. He has appeared publicly to discuss the initiative, including on NYSE Live and in podcast format alongside Intercontinental Exchange's Michael Blaugrund.

Herrick also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a position he has held since June 2024, and as a Board Member at tZERO Group, Inc. since November 2023. Prior to becoming Chief Product Officer, he served as NYSE's Head of Markets, leading the equities and options businesses across its seven exchanges and three trading floors, and before that as Head of Equities at the exchange. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at several proprietary trading firms: he joined GETCO in 2006, which later acquired Knight Capital to become KCG Holdings; subsequently became Managing Director at Sun Trading, which was acquired by Hudson River Trading; and most recently before joining NYSE served as Managing Director, Americas at Quantlab. He holds a B.A. from the State University of New York, College at Oswego.
