Jovan Paunovic

Jovan Paunovic is Founder and CEO of Treesury, a Belgrade-headquartered company he founded in 2023 with presence in Switzerland and Australia. Treesury operates as an agricultural-food platform connecting farmers with investors and industrial buyers through regulated tokenized securities and blockchain markets, addressing food supply security, climate change, and poverty reduction. The platform offers digital tokens to investors that generate returns on invested capital alongside profit from carbon credits.

Alongside Treesury, Paunovic serves as an expert consultant for GLG in New York and AlphaSights in London, advising on MedTech, healthcare tokenization, blockchain, and FinTech. He is also founder of JP ICG, a consultancy focused on mergers and acquisitions, digital business transformation, and startup support. Previously, he held CEO positions at General Electric subsidiaries GE Holdings and GE Healthcare for the Western Balkans, and founded VisMedica, described as the first telemedicine platform in Eastern Europe. He holds approximately 17 years of experience across healthcare, finance, agriculture, and ICT. Paunovic is an active mentor and angel investor supporting projects across three continents. He studied at Università Luigi Bocconi and United World College of the Adriatic, and completed the Technology Entrepreneurship Program at Stanford University.
