Julia Demidova

Julia Demidova is Senior Director, Digital Assets Product & Strategy at FIS, a position she has held since August 2021. She leads the end-to-end design, build, and commercialisation of FIS's digital asset platform and components, with her remit spanning infrastructure architecture, API development, tokenisation, custody, product compliance, and integration with core payment systems. She launched the Digital Regulated Money (DRM) platform, a production-grade infrastructure for the issuance, transfer, and settlement of multiple digital asset classes, alongside embedded finance components covering crypto on/off ramps and programmable payments. Her product ownership responsibilities include roadmap development, feature definition, pricing, P&L models, and overseeing deployments from concept through to production readiness, including InfoSec approvals, CI/CD pipelines, cloud builds, and performance testing. She has led initiatives across CBDCs, tokenised deposits, stablecoins, and crypto, working directly with central banks, commercial banks, and institutional fintechs.

Demidova has authored strategy papers, regulatory consultation responses, and market positioning materials. She has supported RFPs, built pricing frameworks, led client education initiatives, and closed commercial agreements for emerging financial technologies. Earlier in her career she held roles in commercial strategy, business development, investor relations, and client partnerships. Her total professional experience spans approximately thirteen years.
