Kyle DaCruz is Director, Digital Assets Product at VanEck, a position he has held since April 2021. In this role, he has served as a public spokesperson on VanEck's digital asset product decisions, including the firm's fee waiver policy for HODL, the VanEck Bitcoin ETF. In March 2024, he announced the waiver of HODL's sponsor fee for the first $1.5B in assets, and in November 2024 he announced an extension of that waiver to cover the first $2.5B in assets until January 10, 2026, citing the anniversary of the SEC's approval of U.S.-listed spot bitcoin exchange-traded products as the basis for that date.

Prior to his current role, DaCruz served at VanEck as Product Manager for Active Strategies from October 2017 to April 2021, and briefly as Associate Product Manager from May to October 2017. Before joining VanEck, he was a Product Information Analyst at Putnam Investments in Boston from June 2013 to May 2017, and prior to that a Financial Professional Associate at Prudential Financial from July 2010 to January 2013. Earlier roles include a Consultant Team Lead position at Mortgage Debt Services/Eastpointe Mortgage Company and a Sales and Trading internship at Investment Technology Group, where he executed reports on dark pool access and conducted market analyses. DaCruz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire.

Jon Casterline

Digital Assets Product Manager

Jonathan Casterline is Product Manager, Digital Assets at VanEck, a position he has held since July 2025. He concurrently serves as Director of Institutional Partnerships at Centrifuge, a real-world asset tokenization and fund management platform, where he also leads institutional partnerships at Anemoy, Centrifuge's in-house web3 native asset manager, which works with Janus Henderson and other traditional finance institutions to bring investment opportunities onchain. Centrifuge has tokenized over $850M in assets since its founding in 2017.

Prior to his current roles, Casterline held capital markets and institutional sales positions at Credix, a tech-enabled asset manager focused on blockchain-based structured credit investments in Latin American emerging markets, where he progressed to Head of Capital Markets. Before Credix, he worked at Circle, the issuer of USDC, in capital markets roles at SeedInvest, rising from Associate to Senior Associate between June 2020 and October 2022. His career spans approximately nine years, with a consistent focus on institutional sales, capital markets, and fundraising at the intersection of blockchain technology and traditional financial markets.

Laura Vidiella Del Blanco

Head of Investor Relations, Digital Assets

Laura Vidiella del Blanco is Head of Investor Relations, Digital Assets at VanEck, a position she has held since November 2024 and is based in New York. She is also a member of the Forbes Business Development Council. Concurrently, she serves as a Strategic Advisor at Enclave Markets, an institutional-grade digital asset trading platform, a role she has held since August 2022. She is additionally Director Head of Community Marketing at Women in Blockchain (WiB), a nonprofit organization, where she has been active since August 2019.

Prior to joining VanEck, Vidiella del Blanco served as Head of BD Strategy at MNNC Group, a quantitative digital asset investment firm, from November 2023 to November 2024. Before that, she held the position of VP of BD Strategy at LedgerPrime from December 2021 to October 2023. Her earlier career included roles in digital assets at LedgerX and Paradigm, and she began her professional career trading environmental commodities at STX Group in Amsterdam. Her experience across these roles has been concentrated in crypto derivatives, institutional sales, and business development within digital asset markets. Total professional experience across these positions spans approximately eight years.

Matthew Sigel

Head of Digital Assets Research at VanEck

Matthew Sigel is Head of Digital Assets Research at VanEck, a position he has held since April 2021. He also serves as Portfolio Manager for the VanEck Smart Contract Leaders Fund and sits on the investment committee of several of the firm's private funds. His work covers Bitcoin, smart contract platforms, and emerging markets adoption of digital assets. He has spoken publicly on topics including global liquidity and Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana as open-source application platforms, and active management approaches to digital asset investing. VanEck's Bitcoin ETF, ticker HODL, won the Best New ETF Ticker award at the 2025 ETF.com Awards; Sigel commented on the award in his capacity as Head of Digital Assets Research.

Prior to VanEck, Sigel spent approximately a decade at CLSA, where he held roles including Portfolio Strategist and Head of Equity Sales for the Americas. Before that, he was a Portfolio Manager and Research Analyst at AllianceBernstein from 2007 to 2011. Earlier in his career he worked as a producer at Bloomberg News from 2004 to 2007, and at CNBC from 2003 to 2004. He holds a Bachelor of Arts, earned between 1994 and 1998. His research is regularly featured in Bloomberg and CoinDesk, and he has appeared on CNBC, Cointelegraph, Blockworks, and other outlets.

Pranav Kanade

Portfolio Manager Digital Assets Alpha Fund

Pranav Kanade is Portfolio Manager at VanEck, where he manages the VanEck Digital Assets Alpha Fund. He joined VanEck in 2022 and operates within the firm's Digital Assets investment team.

Prior to VanEck, Kanade served as Credit Portfolio Manager at Millennium Management, where he worked with a team of six investment professionals. Before Millennium, he was a founding member of the Liquid Credit investing business at Angelo, Gordon & Co., serving as Head of Research. Earlier roles include Managing Director and Research Analyst at Hutchin Hill Capital, with a focus on Technology and Energy, and Research Analyst at UBS in credit research during the European credit crisis. He holds a BS in Finance and Accounting with a specialization in Entertainment, Media and Technology from the New York University Stern School of Business.
