Vice President (DeFi and Digital Assets)
Abhi Srivastava is an AVP-Analyst at Moody's Ratings, working across credit risk and digital assets. In May 2024, he appeared as a speaker on Moody's "Focus on Finance" podcast episode examining how GenAI-powered deepfakes introduce credit risks for corporations, financial institutions, and governments, alongside Joe Lyons of Bitsight and host Danielle Reed.
Srivastava has over 13 years of experience in credit risk modelling and asset-backed structured credit. His academic background includes an MS in Financial Mathematics with a concentration in Computational Methods for Finance from the University of Connecticut School of Business, completed with a 4.0 GPA and supported by a departmental scholarship; a Micromaster in Data Science from UC San Diego Extension; and a certificate in FinTech and Blockchain from Columbia University.

Vice President
Cristiano Ventricelli is Vice President – Senior Analyst, Digital Economy at Moody's Ratings, where his work focuses on the analysis of digital assets, tokenisation, and blockchain-based financial infrastructure. He has contributed analysis on digital bond ratings, including Moody's assessments of digitally native notes issued by the Government of Hong Kong SAR and Bank of Communications HK Branch, participating as a speaker in Moody's analyst briefings on both transactions.
Ventricelli has written on topics including real-world asset tokenisation, the role of Ethereum as infrastructure for tokenised assets, stablecoin risk following the USDC depeg during the 2023 banking crisis, and the risks associated with private asset tokenisation. He has argued publicly that blockchain technology is undergoing a structural shift from retail and cryptocurrency use toward institutional adoption, with applications spanning digital bonds, central bank digital currencies, and asset digitisation across sectors including finance and luxury goods. He has also addressed the intersection of cyber risk and digital finance, contributing to Moody's 2025 outlook on the digital economy. His published commentary spans outlets including CoinDesk and The Big Whale, and he has participated in Moody's Focus on Finance podcast series.
Vice President of Digital Finance
Marat Faritov is Vice President – Senior Analyst, Digital Economy at Moody's Ratings, based in Frankfurt. His primary responsibilities include blockchain analysis, digital asset risk assessment, and integration of blockchain infrastructure. He has participated as a speaker on digital bond analysis, including Moody's coverage of Mirae Asset Securities' first digitally native notes, and has contributed to discussions on digital technologies in the real economy.
Faritov joined Moody's in 2014 and has held a series of roles within the firm. He served as Lead Data Analyst from 2015 to 2018, then progressed through Manager and Senior Manager positions in Analytic Data, where he led a team of financial data analysts covering Structured Finance. He moved into blockchain-focused analysis in April 2022 as AVP Blockchain Analyst, covering both Frankfurt and New York, before being promoted to his current VP – Senior Analyst role in November 2024. He has been involved in the blockchain space since 2016. Prior to Moody's, he held roles at TNT Express in Moscow and completed an internship at Deutsche Telekom in Bonn. He holds a degree in Applied Mathematics and a Master's in Economics.
Associate Managing Director - Digital Assets and AI Analytics
Vincent Gusdorf is Associate Managing Director, Head of AI Analytics and Digital Finance Research at Moody's Ratings, based in Paris. In this role, he leads a team of data scientists and data engineers who design AI-powered tools for the rating agency, coordinates Moody's AI research, and supervises Moody's digital asset research. He has held this position since July 2024, having previously served as SVP for Digital Asset and AI Analytics from October 2022 and SVP for Innovation and Strategy from February 2021.
Gusdorf has participated as a speaker in Moody's external events on digital economy topics, including a roundtable on distributed ledger technology and a panel on digital evolution trends at the Paris Banking Conference 2024. Before moving into technology-focused roles, he spent approximately fifteen years as a credit analyst, covering investment grade and high yield credits at Moody's Ratings from August 2016 to February 2021, and previously at Standard & Poor's from July 2011 to June 2016, where he held responsibility for EMEA automotive suppliers among other sectors. Earlier in his career, he worked as a sell-side credit analyst at Exane from 2007 to 2011. He is a CFA Charterholder, a self-taught programmer and data scientist, and a certified Scrum Master.
