Malte Paschen

Malte Paschen is Manager Strategy and Product Owner Digital Assets & Blockchain at Deutsche WertpapierService Bank AG (dwpbank), a position he has held since April 2023. His mandate covers digital strategy and transformation, blockchain, and crypto, with a specific product ownership responsibility for the wpNex platform, which he manages within a Scrum team in a combined Product Owner and Business Analyst capacity.

Prior to his current role, Paschen completed a trainee programme at dwpbank in Digitization Management from October 2021 to March 2023, during which he worked on digital strategy, blockchain and crypto, data-driven business models, and innovation management, with rotations across Product Management and Sales, Corporate Development and Strategy, Enterprise Architecture Management, and IT Infrastructure. Before joining dwpbank, he held a digital product management role at FINABRO from January 2020 to August 2021, and earlier gained strategy experience at Daimler AG, where he worked on autonomous and connected driving at Daimler Trucks, and at Deutsche Telekom AG, where he was placed within the Technology and Production Practice of the Center for Strategic Projects. Paschen holds a Master's degree in Management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, completed in 2021 with distinction, with a specialisation in digital transformation and corporate finance. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a focus on strategic management, organisation, and digital transformation. His studies included periods in Germany, Austria, and China.
