Head of Digital Assets Strategy
Michele Curtoni is Head of Digital Assets & Financial Information Strategy at SIX Group, a position he has held since June 2025. He concurrently serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at AsiaNext, an institutional digital asset exchange for tokenising and trading securities and non-bankable assets. Prior to this role, he spent four years as Head of Strategy & New Business at SIX Digital Exchange (SDX), where he was a member of the SDX Executive Committee and Strategy Committee, with responsibility for strategy, marketing, and new business initiatives. In that capacity he represented SDX publicly on topics including product roadmaps, digital capital markets architecture, CBDC developments, and Project Helvetia insights.
Before joining SIX, Curtoni was a VP in State Street's Digital Product Development and DLT team, where he focused on cryptocurrencies' safekeeping and custody, asset tokenisation, and technology deployment projects for blockchain-based initiatives. Prior to State Street, he was a manager and strategy leader within LSEG's Emerging Technologies group, and also worked in LSEG's Group Strategy division, where he was involved in acquisitions, corporate partnerships, and other group strategic initiatives. He also served on the Blockchain Advisory Board at Fintech Connect from January 2019 to June 2021. Curtoni holds an MSc in Economics and International Financial Economics from the University of Warwick and is based in London, United Kingdom.
