Meltem Demirors is Founder and General Partner at Crucible Capital, an early-stage fund investing in the foundations of the digital future, which she launched in 2024. At Crucible, she draws on a network spanning major institutions and early-stage builders to source and fund investment opportunities. Prior to founding Crucible, she served as Chief Strategy Officer at CoinShares, where she oversaw corporate strategy, managed the firm's proprietary investment portfolio, and served as Managing Director of its U.S. operations. She also built asset management products to provide institutional investors with exposure to crypto assets and blockchain companies.

Demirors began her crypto career in 2015 on the founding team at Digital Currency Group, where she managed a portfolio of companies across multiple countries and advised major financial institutions and corporations. Before entering the crypto industry, she worked in trading, corporate treasury, and M&A roles in the oil and gas industry, including a position in corporate treasury at ExxonMobil and four years as a strategy consultant at Deloitte. She has lectured at MIT and Oxford, serves as Director of the Oxford Blockchain Strategy Programme, and is an angel investor in over 100 startups. She holds a B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Rice University and an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.
