Michael Rausch

Peter Hubli is Head of Digital Asset Solutions at Zürcher Kantonalbank, a position he has held since May 2020. In this role, he is responsible for the evaluation and implementation of distributed ledger technologies — including blockchain and Ethereum — within ZKB's securities and payment processes. He oversees the bank's connection to new trading platforms and leads the evaluation and introduction of trading and processing of transactions involving digital assets and cryptocurrencies. He also ensures adherence to legal and regulatory requirements and alignment with the bank's overall strategy, leads the medium-term strategy of his area, and serves as Representative of the Head Operations. Externally, he represents Zürcher Kantonalbank at the Swiss Post Trade Council (SPTC) and at the Eurex Derivatives Committee.

Prior to his current role, Hubli served as Head of Market Operations at Zürcher Kantonalbank from December 2011 to April 2020. Before joining ZKB, he was Head of Customer Relationship at SIX SIS AG from 2008 to 2011, Head of Business Development at Derivative Partners from December 2007 to August 2008, and held a business development role at Telekurs Financial for twelve years from 1995 to 2007. His educational background includes an Executive MBA in General Management from Universität St. Gallen, a Betriebsökonom FH in Finance from ZHAW School of Management and Law, a Certified International Investment Analyst qualification from AZEK, and a Senior Executive Programme at London Business School completed in 2020.
