Navaj Karbhari

Navaj Karbhari is Head of Digital Products – Mobile Apps, Cards, Payments, Digital Assets & Digital Onboarding at Confidential, a role he has held since April 2023 and is based in Dubai. His product mandate covers consumer-facing products including commercial cards for B2B clients, premium cards for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, account-to-account payments, instant and virtual payments, loyalty programmes, luxury lifestyle services, digital onboarding with AML/KYC compliance, prepaid cards, digital channels, and fraud management. On the digital assets side, he manages strategic partnerships with digital asset wallet infrastructure providers, including crypto wallet service providers, and is involved in FinTech regulatory sandbox participation and new product launches.

Prior to this role, Karbhari spent approximately 14 months at NowNow, a Nigeria-headquartered FinTech, where he served first as Deputy General Manager for Corporate Strategy and Growth and subsequently as Head of Cards, Merchant Payment Acceptance Solutions, and Open Banking Products. Earlier in his career, he held a product management role at the Land Transport Authority of Singapore as Manager of the ePayment Innovation Centre, a position he held from February 2013 to July 2015. He has been recognised as a LinkedIn Top Voice in FinTech. He holds an MBA from London Business School and a degree from BITS Pilani, where he was a Philips Scholar. His total professional experience spans 18 years.
