Nithya Sridharan is Digital Assets Director at TP ICAP, where she leads strategic initiatives at the intersection of traditional finance and digital assets, helping institutions navigate this evolving landscape. She has held the role since September 2023. She chairs the ACI UK Digital Asset Subcommittee and co-chairs TP ICAP's Women's Network.

Her career background spans investment banking, strategic investments, markets, risk management, regulatory affairs, IT, and public policy research across the UK and Asia. She is an alumna of Credit Suisse's Executive Board–sponsored Leadership Acceleration Program. Separately, she serves as a writer under the independent project Culture and Capital, where she publishes a newsletter exploring how cultural narratives inform and reflect evolving ideas of capital. She previously served as an Advisory Board Member at Be the Business, an organisation supporting UK SMEs, from April 2023 to April 2024. Her academic background includes study at Imperial College London.

Duncan Trenholme

Managing Director, Global Co-Head of Digital Assets

Duncan Trenholme is Managing Director, Global Co-Head of Digital Assets at TP ICAP, a position he has held since January 2023. In this role he leads the firm's Digital Assets business for institutional clients, with a stated focus on tokenisation as a mechanism to reduce counterparty risk, improve capital efficiency, and lower costs in accessing global markets. He has been directly involved in Fusion Digital Assets, a product positioned to bridge legacy financial infrastructure and blockchain-based systems. Since February 2025, he has also served as Co-Chair of the FIX Trading Community's Digital Assets and Technology Committee.

Trenholme joined what was then ICAP through its 2008 graduate programme, working within the Equities division. He subsequently spent a decade at ICAP as a Senior Derivatives Broker specialising in equity derivatives. He has been with the firm, across its various iterations, for over 15 years in total. Earlier experience includes a summer internship in geophysics exploration at BP and a research internship at the Mullard Space Science Laboratory. He holds a Master of Physics degree from the University of Warwick. In 2024 he was named in Financial News's Rising Stars of European Finance list.

Sam Newman

Digital Assets Head of Broking

Sam Newman is Digital Assets Head of Broking at TP ICAP, a position he has held since February 2020. TP ICAP operates as a liquidity and data solutions provider connecting clients in wholesale markets globally.

Prior to joining TP ICAP, Newman spent nearly eight years at PVM Oil Associates as an Oil Options Broker, from February 2012 to January 2020. His skills include options trading, broking, and digital assets. He holds a Chainalysis Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification (CCFC), issued in April 2021, as well as a Series 3 qualification from the National Futures Association and a UK Rules and Regulations certification from the Financial Conduct Authority. His total professional experience spans approximately 14 years. He attended Mill Hill between 2006 and 2009 and JFS between 2009 and 2011.

Simon Forster

Managing Director, Global Co-Head of Digital Assets

Simon Forster is Managing Director, Global Co-Head of Digital Assets at TP ICAP, a position he has held since January 2023. In this role he oversees the Digital Assets business and directs the company's long-term vision for developing proprietary solutions across both cryptoassets and tokenised digital assets. He co-led the TP ICAP Global cryptoasset Working Group, which was established in 2017, and subsequently co-led the launch of the TP ICAP Digital Assets business, which provides clients with access to the global financial infrastructure of digital assets. He first assumed the Co-Head of Digital Assets title in December 2018, prior to his elevation to Managing Director.

Before his current focus on digital assets, Forster served as Director within the SFPG division at ICAP from August 2010 to December 2019. Earlier in his career he held Director-level roles at Société Générale, where he worked in Synthetic Prime Brokerage from January 2008 to May 2010, and at ABN AMRO Bank N.V., where he was in Equity Finance from April 2001 to October 2007. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers University, completed between 1997 and 2000.
