ÖMER YAMİNOĞLU

Ömer Yaminoğlu is Head of Crypto Services at Fibabanka, a position he has held since October 2025, reporting into General Management. His current mandate places him at the intersection of digital assets and banking services. Prior to this role, he spent approximately five years at DenizBank across a sequence of analytical and risk positions, most recently as SVP leading the Risk Analytics Modeling IFRS Credit Provisions and Data Governance Office, and before that as Senior Vice President of the Credit Risk Modeling Group. His work at DenizBank covered credit risk model development across PD, EAD, LGD, early warning systems, and collection models, as well as IFRS 9 credit provisions and data governance.

Earlier in his career, Yaminoğlu held a Data Analytics Leader role at Turkish Airlines within the Digital Innovation and Data Analytics division, focused on revenue management models and destination recommendation analytics. Before that, he served as Model Validation Manager at Akbank, covering credit and model risk management. He holds a PMP certification and has accumulated close to 20 years of experience across banking, financial services, and digital finance. His stated areas of specialisation include credit analytics, AI and machine learning, fintech investments, risk management, and project management.
