Director of Crypto Compliance
Nevo Lapidot is Director of Crypto Compliance at eToro, a position he has held since May 2025. In this role, he leads eToro's regulatory compliance efforts in crypto. He previously served at eToro as Crypto Regulation Specialist from January 2021 to July 2022, where he led the group's strategy for regulatory compliance in Web 3.0, oversaw Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) licensing projects across more than ten jurisdictions, supervised the company's consultations with legal advisors in the US, EU, and UK on cryptocurrency legal matters, and maintained ongoing communication with crypto regulators.
Alongside his current role at eToro, Lapidot is Founder and CEO of Source of Funds Ltd., a Tel Aviv-based consulting firm focused on operations and regulation of fintech and crypto activities, including complex asset tracing investigations in crypto, which he founded in March 2019. He also founded FRNZX in January 2022, a software development company building compliance tools for finance, a position he held until November 2025. Earlier, he served as VP Operations at Atidot from March to November 2021, where he was responsible for overseeing the company's operations. His total professional experience spans fourteen years.
Senior Director of Global Payments
Ofir Wolff is Senior Director of Global Payments and Senior Director of Product for eToro Money, Crypto, and Operations at eToro, roles he has held concurrently since June 2023 and April 2022 respectively. His product remit spans eToro Money, blockchain, payments, and operations. Prior to these roles, he served as Director of Product for eToro Money, Crypto, and Operations from June 2020 to June 2022, and as Director of Backend Products from July 2012 to June 2020, covering payments, compliance, and operations. He joined eToro in January 2010 as Director of Operations, based in Cyprus, with responsibility for finance, risk, and compliance operations.
Before eToro, Wolff worked as a Project Manager at Comverse from June 2006 to January 2010, focused on ERP, supply chain, and IT integrations. Earlier, he was an Industry Engineering and Management Consultant at ROI Customers from January 2005 to February 2006, working on organisational management, IT management, and cost reduction. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and Industrial Management from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where he studied from 2000 to 2004. He is based in Ganei Tikva, Israel.
Chief Blockchain Officer
Omri Ross is Chief Blockchain Officer at eToro and Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH). At eToro, he serves as Managing Director of eToro's Blockchain Labs, where his team is responsible for designing and implementing the firm's Web3 products and business strategies, including NFTs and staking. He has held the role since March 2019, following eToro's acquisition of Firmo Network, a financial services company he founded and led as CEO from 2017 to 2019.
At UCPH, Ross has been an Associate Professor since April 2016, focusing on blockchain technology and fintech. He is the initiator of the Financial Transparency Group at UCPH. His research centres on the application of blockchain and distributed ledger technology in financial services, with emphasis on decentralised finance, trade processing, derivatives, regulation, and compliance. Prior to his current academic appointment, he held a postdoctoral and External Associate Professor position at the Technical University of Denmark from 2012 to 2016, teaching courses in financial engineering and financial risk management for postgraduate students and conducting research on strategic portfolio management. Ross holds a PhD in financial mathematics from Cambridge University.
Director of Crypto and Finance Operations
Yotam Amichay is Director of Crypto and Finance Operations at eToro, a position he held from July 2022 to September 2024. In this role, he established and managed eToro's Finance Operations Department, overseeing accounting and controllership functions including financial reporting at entity and group consolidated levels, monthly P&L reporting, and annual audits. He led six yearly and semi-annual financial audits to public company standards and managed daily finance operations covering on-chain transaction monitoring and approvals, liquidity and working capital management, reconciliation processes, and custody oversight across billions of dollars in assets under management. He built and operated a daily reconciliation process for billions of dollars of customer transactions and on-chain assets against internal records, and implemented automation systems for treasury, risk management, and reconciliation. He also partnered with regulators including Germany's BaFin, Gibraltar's GSFC, and Cyprus's CySec, and led three periodic regulatory audits.
Amichay's tenure at eToro began in August 2020 as Finance Manager, progressing to Head of Finance Operations in December 2021 before being appointed Director in July 2022. Prior to eToro, he spent approximately 14 months on the investment team at Fosun RZ Capital, the Israel-based arm of Fosun International, a China-headquartered global investment firm. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) based in Israel.
