Panumart Lakthan

Panumart Lakthan is Senior Officer, Digital Asset Policy Department at the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand, a position he has held since July 2025. Based in Bangkok, he works within the SEC's finance and accounting function at senior level, focused on digital asset policy.

Prior to moving into the Digital Asset Policy Department, Panumart spent approximately three and a half years as Senior Officer in the SEC's Sustainable Development Department from November 2021 to June 2025, and before that served as an Intermediaries Policy Officer in a legal capacity from September 2020 to November 2021. Before joining the SEC, he worked as a Budget Analyst at the Bureau of the Budget in Bangkok from May 2014 to September 2020, a role of over six years in finance and accounting. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of San Francisco, completed between 2016 and 2018, and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from the University of Utah.
