Patrick Hennes is Head of Digital Asset Servicing at DZ PRIVATBANK AG Luxembourg Branch, a position he has held since November 2025. In this role, he leads the institution's digital asset servicing function, with a focus on building infrastructure that bridges traditional and decentralized finance. Prior to this appointment, he served as Head of Transfer Agency Development DLT at the same institution from October 2021 to November 2025, during which time he led Fundchain, one of Luxembourg's earliest proof-of-concept initiatives for investment fund tokenization. He also co-authored the white paper "Distributed Ledger Technology – Genesis of a New Business Model for the Asset Management Industry", an early industry publication on DLT adoption in asset management.

Hennes brings over 25 years of experience in asset servicing. Before joining DZ PRIVATBANK AG, he was a Director at PwC Luxembourg from July 2015 to October 2021, where he operated within general management. Earlier roles include Deputy Head of System Information Management at Attrax Financial Services S.A., Senior Business Analyst at IGEFI S.à r.l., and Deputy Head of Transfer Agency at Fastnet (Crédit Agricole), all based in Luxembourg. He also ran an independent consultancy, StepWorx SARL, from 2005 to 2016. His areas of focus span digital asset servicing, regulatory strategy, and change management. He is a speaker at the ALFI Seminar on Digital Fund Management 2026, where he participates in a panel addressing the implications of Luxembourg's Blockchain IV Law and the EU Market Integration Package for tokenised funds.
