Chris Rayner-Cook is Chief Investment Officer at Brevan Howard Digital, where he leads the firm's Digital investment team. He has held the role since May 2025.
Over a career spanning more than 20 years, Rayner-Cook has held senior roles across crypto, hedge fund portfolio management, and multi-asset derivatives. At Coinbase, he served as Global Head of Trading and Financing from January 2021 to January 2024. Prior to that, he managed capital at Brevan Howard, Citadel, and Millennium. In 2018, he co-founded Ivno, a blockchain-based tokenisation business, which he served as Chairman until its acquisition by R3 in September 2021. He began his career at Merrill Lynch in 2000. He holds a BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol.
