Qiguo Zhang is Vice President, Institutional Marketing – Crypto/Blockchain/AI at Genesis Trading Corp, a role held since January 2020. Working directly with the CMO, Heads of Business, and Head of Sales, Zhang translates business objectives into marketing strategy, with responsibility for building the planning process for institutional marketing including segment and product prioritisation. Zhang created the go-to-market institutional marketing strategy and tactics for crypto prime brokerage, covering the full funnel from awareness to conversion. Specific initiatives include launching the firm's first paid social post, first webinar, first awareness campaign, and first lead generation campaign. Zhang developed a content marketing system comprising 38 main pieces of content designed to support a unified prospect engagement experience, and established analytics and reporting methodologies, metrics, KPIs, and dashboards presented to senior management. Zhang also developed relationships with 32 sales qualified leads from Fortune 200 companies, resulting in direct business execution.

Prior to Genesis, Zhang held roles including Director of Technology at Dujour Media, IT Consultant at Act 1 Personnel Services, and PC/NT Systems Tech Manager at Kerzner International. Zhang holds a Master of Science in Technology Management from Georgetown University. Total professional experience spans 22 years.
