Rani Jabban is Deputy CEO / Head of Treasury, Financial Institutions, Digital Assets & Marketing at Arab Bank (Switzerland), where he sits on the Executive Committee. He leads the bank's digital assets activities, which he initiated, alongside its treasury, financial institutions, and marketing functions. He drove the bank's entry into crypto from 2018, positioning it as a provider of digital asset custody, trading, and staking services. The bank selected Taurus as its custody partner, signing in December 2018 with the solution live in 2019. Jabban also serves as a Board Member at Taurus.

He joined Arab Bank Switzerland in 2009 as Head of Treasury and was appointed to the Executive Committee in 2014. Prior to that, he spent nine years at Credit Agricole (Suisse) SA as Senior Manager in Forex Private Banking, and before that held a Forex Treasury Sales role at Banque Française de l'Orient, part of the Credit Agricole Indosuez group, from 1995 to 2000. He holds two Master of Science degrees: one from the Magistère Banque Finance and one in DESS Techniques Financières et Bancaires from Paris-Panthéon-Assas University. He completed the High Performance Leadership executive program at IMD in 2016.

Michel Grimaldi

Romain Braud

Romain Braud is Head of Digital Assets and Executive Director at Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd., a position he has held since December 2023. In this role, his mandate covers digital assets cold storage custody, a trading desk operating digital assets spot, OTC, and RFQ transactions, staking services, Lombard loans collateralised by BTC, ETH, cash or stablecoins, NFT custody and trading, and digital assets advisory and discretionary services. He joined Arab Bank (Switzerland) Ltd. in October 2020 as Digital Assets Business Development Director, where he was responsible for shaping the bank's digital assets business strategy and services.

Prior to his current role, Braud co-founded Bity, described as one of the first regulated financial intermediary companies focused on digital assets in Switzerland, where he led revenue and growth strategy from 2014 to 2016. Since 2016, he has operated Auxilium Network, a blockchain and fintech consultancy providing crypto assets investment advisory, digital transformation guidance, and financial technologies consulting to organisations. He served as a Board Member at UR Capital from 2018 to 2022, focused on fintech profile recruitment recommendations. Earlier career positions include IT Director at Publicis Group and IT Sales Engineer at Micronet. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Telecom and Networking from Université François Rabelais de Tours. He has 12 years of experience in the blockchain industry.
