Ray Dillet is Head of Financial Institutions – Europe at Bitwise, a role he has held since July 2024 and is based in London. In this capacity, he focuses on institutional client coverage across Europe, with an emphasis on digital asset products including ETFs, passive and active strategies, and on-chain solutions. He speaks regularly on institutional panels and has presented at venues including the House of Lords and Mansion House. Bitwise serves as CFA UK's digital asset partner, supporting education for its members, as well as the CISI's membership base, with Dillet's team central to that institutional outreach.

In December 2025, Dillet participated as a speaker at a breakfast event in London co-hosted by Bitwise and Everstake, addressing the evolution of cryptocurrency adoption among institutional players, with discussion covering on-chain yield, staking infrastructure, and the structuring of yield-bearing ETP and ETF products. Separately, Dillet is Co-Founder and CEO of Bridge Partners, a boutique asset management and advisory firm focused on liquid digital assets, which he founded in August 2022. He is also an angel investor in Nscale, an AI cloud platform, and a limited partner at Kestrel0x1, an early-stage technology investment fund. Prior to Bitwise, his career spans roughly 20 years across ETFs, alternatives, and digital assets. He holds a degree from Loughborough University.

From ETPs to staking: taking advantage of on-chain finance

André Dragosch

Director, Head of Research

André Dragosch is Director, Head of Research — Europe at Bitwise Europe, a role he has held since August 2024. His work focuses on research within the cryptocurrency market, with an approach grounded in macroeconomics and on-chain indicators. He is also the author of exponential-gold.com and publishes regular research on Bitcoin and macro topics through Bitwise's European platform.

Dragosch has worked in the German financial industry for more than ten years, primarily in portfolio management and investment research. Prior to joining Bitwise, he served as Head of Research at Deutsche Digital Assets from October 2022 to October 2023, and before that as Investment Strategist and Cross Asset Analyst at Union Investment from July 2019 to September 2022. He has been a private crypto asset investor since 2014 and began gaining institutional crypto asset experience in 2018. He holds a PhD in financial history from the University of Southampton, UK.

Bradley Duke

MD, Head of Europe

Bradley Duke is Managing Director, Head of Europe at Bitwise Asset Management, where he leads the firm's European expansion following Bitwise's acquisition of ETC Group in August 2024. He co-founded ETC Group in 2019, where he built and oversaw BTCE, which became the largest and most heavily traded crypto ETP in Europe. Following the acquisition, he joined Bitwise's executive team with responsibility for European operations.

Earlier in his career, Duke held leadership positions in regulated financial services and financial technology. He worked at investment bank Jefferies across offices in New York, Paris, and London, and subsequently at trading firm KCG in London, where he headed Knight Direct Europe. He co-founded fintech and payments company Zapper, and served as CEO of the UK branch of investment bank BCS Global Markets. Duke is bilingual in English and French, with working proficiency in Dutch.

Hong Kim

Product Manager

Hong Kim is Co-founder & CTO at Bitwise Asset Management, where he has been building the firm's technical infrastructure since co-founding the company in November 2016. He also serves as a Board Director. His mandate centres on bridging crypto and traditional finance through engineering and backend systems architecture.

In 2025, Bitwise launched its first on-chain vault products, an initiative enabled by a US regulatory environment willing to allow firms to build and iterate rather than wait for complete rule clarity. Kim participated as a speaker at The Big Whale's institutional breakfast during EthCC in March 2026, where the discussion covered on-chain finance, privacy as a barrier to institutional adoption, and the case for public blockchains with privacy layers over permissioned ledgers. Prior to co-founding Bitwise, Kim served as a Software Security Researcher in the Republic of Korea Army from May 2011 to April 2013, where he worked on cybersecurity testing infrastructure. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.

Leyla Sharifullina

Director- Head of Operations, Europe

Leyla Sharifullina is Director, Head of Operations - Europe at Bitwise Asset Management, based in London, a position she has held since August 2024. In this role she oversees European operations for a firm focused on crypto index funds and institutional crypto investment products.

Prior to joining Bitwise, Sharifullina served as Chief Operating Officer at ETC Group from January 2020, where she built out the operational infrastructure of the newly founded entity as it grew to assets under management of US$2 billion. In that role she managed daily operations across multiple business units including IT and counterparty on-boarding, coordinated the acquisition of ISO 27001 certification, and acted as a strategic partner to the leadership team on new product launches and the selection of key external partners including cryptocurrency custodians, data analytics platforms, listing agents, and exchanges. She also developed control and reporting frameworks for executives, the board of directors, and stakeholders. Earlier in her career she held a role as Chief Financial Analyst and Structured Finance Manager at Raven Property Group Limited. She holds the CFA designation and a background from Kazan State University. Her total professional experience spans approximately 19 years.

Matt Hougan

Chief Investment Officer

Matt Hougan is Chief Investment Officer at Bitwise Asset Management, where he works with the investment team to analyse, evaluate and invest in cryptoassets. He has been in the role since October 2020. At Bitwise, his publicly stated focus includes index methodologies, active strategies, and institutional positioning across Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, as well as the firm's vault product developed on Morpho, which he has described as among the most significant recent developments in asset management. He has articulated Bitwise's competitive positioning as that of a deep specialist — contrasting the firm's exclusive focus on digital assets against generalist asset managers entering the crypto ETF space.

Prior to joining Bitwise in early 2018, Hougan was CEO of ETF.com (formerly IndexUniverse.com), a role he held from 2006 to 2015, during which he helped build the first institutionally oriented ETF classification and ratings system and led the sale of the business in three transactions to FactSet, BATS, and Informa. He subsequently joined Informa, where he worked on Inside ETFs, the largest ETF conference in the world. He is co-author of two CFA Institute Research Foundation publications: "A Comprehensive Guide to Exchange-Traded Funds," published in 2015, and "Cryptoassets: The Guide to Bitcoin, Blockchain, and Cryptocurrency for Investment Professionals." He has appeared three times as a member of the Barron's ETF Roundtable. He is also a co-founder of Future Proof, a board member of QuantumStreet AI, and a strategic advisor to Blockworks and StratiFi. He holds a B.A. in philosophy from Bowdoin College.

Ronald Richter

Chief Executive Officer

Ronald Richter is Regional Director, Investment Strategy – Europe at Bitwise Europe, a position he has held since January 2024. In this role he covers investment strategy for the European region at Bitwise, which he describes as the largest pure-play digital asset manager globally, offering regulated exposure to crypto assets through passive and active vehicles. He has spoken publicly on portfolio construction topics involving digital assets, including a presentation at the Geneva Wealth Day titled "Reimagining Asset Allocation: How Bitcoin Strengthens Traditional Portfolios Amid Macro Shifts," and was featured as a speaker at the Web3 Banking Symposium organised by the Crypto Valley Association.

Richter has over 20 years of experience across traditional finance and digital asset investing, with a background spanning investment management, sales, and operations. His prior roles include Head of Operations at Atitlan Asset Management, a London-based crypto specialist asset manager focused on quantitative and market-neutral strategies, where he worked from January 2022 to January 2024. Before that, he was Managing Partner at Bride Valley Partners from August 2015 to November 2023, a firm active in corporate finance, investment advisory, and capital raising across alternative assets. His broader expertise covers research, portfolio management, and advisory across digital assets, hedge funds, private equity and debt, and real assets. He has also held roles in Swiss private banking and hedge fund structures, as noted in his speaker profile for the Web3 Banking Symposium.
