Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Cash, Securities Lending and Digital Assets
Kim Hochfeld is Senior Managing Director, Global Head of Cash, Securities Lending and Digital Assets at State Street Investment Management, based in London. In this role, she leads a global distribution team focused on institutional cash management solutions and holds responsibility for the design, oversight, and distribution of the firm's securities lending solutions. She co-chairs State Street Investment Management's Talent and Learning Council and is a member of State Street Investment Management's Executive Management Group, the EMEA Executive Committee, and State Street's senior leadership team. Her mandate explicitly includes digital assets, reflected in her title.
Prior to joining State Street Investment Management, Hochfeld was EMEA and Asia Head of Liquidity Distribution at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. She has been active in the money market fund industry since 2005 and has held senior sales and leadership roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland, BlackRock, and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. Earlier in her career she worked at Bank of America, Bank One, and JP Morgan across offices in London, Geneva, and Brussels. She currently serves as elected Chair of the Board of the Institutional Money Market Fund Association (IMMFA), the London-based industry trade body. Hochfeld holds an MSc from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
