Sejal Mehta

Sejal Mehta is a Principal, Financial Services at Odgers, based in London, where she leads the Payments, Digital Assets and broader FinTech verticals. In this capacity, she advises founders, senior executives and Boards across these verticals to identify and attract leadership talent in C-suite and management team roles. She has held this position since April 2022.

Prior to Odgers, Sejal spent 12 years in management consulting, beginning at McKinsey & Co and subsequently working in financial services and strategy consulting at PA Consulting across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia. She then joined HSBC, where she held three successive roles: Business Performance Manager, Senior Manager of Digital Propositions, and Director of Digital Innovation, the last of which she held from March 2018 to February 2020. Following HSBC, she served for seven months as Chief Digital and Operating Officer at a confidential digital healthcare start-up, before joining Fluidly by OakNorth as Director of Platform Partnerships from May 2021 to April 2022, where her focus was on digital innovation through establishing partnerships between banks, FinTechs and the wider digital ecosystem. She holds a Bachelor of Finance and an MBA in finance and strategy. She speaks English, Hindi and Gujarati.
