Shikha Bhuchar

Shikha Bhuchar is Vice President, Head of Strategy and Investments at RBCx, a position she assumed in January 2026. In this role, she oversees venture investments in funds and startups, leads the M&A practice, and forges strategic partnerships for tech companies. She also heads the Crypto and Digital Assets team, where she advances research and development in emerging payment technologies. Prior to this title, she held the role of Senior Director of Strategy, Investments, and Digital Assets at RBCx from March 2023.

Earlier at RBCx, Bhuchar co-founded Arrive, one of the organisation's first in-house ventures, built to help newcomers to Canada access tools and services before and after arrival. Under her leadership, Arrive scaled to three countries, reached over 200,000 users, and became RBC's first pre-arrival newcomer service. Before founding Arrive, she held leadership roles in digital banking focused on delivering solutions for a digitised financial landscape. She holds a BBA and MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management. She is also an advocate for women and underrepresented groups in tech and finance, and mentors young athletes transitioning into corporate life.
