Souâd Benkredda

Carolin Wenke is Expert Digital Assets & Blockchain/DLT at DZ BANK AG, based in Frankfurt, a position she has held since February 2023. Her role is focused on digital assets and blockchain/distributed ledger technology at the cooperative central bank.

Earlier in her career she worked as a working student in Sales & Marketing at Swiss Life Deutschland and completed a product marketing internship at Volkswagen AG focused on the Volkswagen Caddy. She also held a role in Planning & Organization at Genossenschaftsverband-Verband der Regionen e.V. Wenke holds a Master's degree in Business Development and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Hochschule Hannover, and a degree in Business Administration, Business Management, and Marketing from Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

Christian Korn is Product Manager Business Development Capital Markets Digital Assets at DZ BANK AG, a position he has held since October 2025 and is based in Frankfurt. DZ BANK AG serves as the central bank for more than 700 cooperative banks in Germany. Prior to joining DZ BANK, Korn spent over three years at flatexDEGIRO as Executive Director and Head of Digital Assets, a role he held from April 2022 to September 2025. Before that, he served as Director and Head of IT Compliance, Risk and Data Protection for eToro Germany from August 2021 to April 2022. Earlier in his career, he was a Manager at PwC from December 2019 to August 2021, and prior to that a Senior Project Manager at Nordea from October 2017 to February 2019, where his work included KYC development and solutions, transformation and implementation strategies, automation, and leading an automated ODD project portfolio. His total professional experience spans approximately 18 years. His educational background includes studies at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.

Imke Jacob is General Executive Manager (Generalbevollmächtigte) at DZ BANK AG, a role she has held since October 2024. She currently serves as Chief Representative and continues to oversee Strategy & Group Development. Following the planned retirement of board member Thomas Ullrich in June 2025, she has been assuming gradual management responsibility for the bank's Transaction Banking divisions. On 1 July 2026, she will join the Board of Managing Directors, taking on formal responsibility for Transaction Banking. She participated in the Singapore Fintech Festival 2024, speaking on a panel addressing global liquidity through digital money, covering treasury, settlement, and payments infrastructure. She holds supervisory board mandates at VR Payment GmbH, where she serves as Chair, Deutsche Wertpapier Service Bank AG, and VR Factoring GmbH, and sits on the board of EPI Company SE. She is also a member of the board of the Städelscher Museums-Verein e.V.

Jacob joined DZ BANK in November 2023 as Head of Strategy & Group Development. Before that, she spent approximately seven years at McKinsey & Company, progressing from consultant to partner. At McKinsey, she was based initially in Frankfurt and later in New York, where she served as co-head of Commercial & Corporate Banking for North America, with a focus on corporate and commercial banks, retail and wealth management, digital strategy, and advanced analytics. Prior to McKinsey, she held management positions at Deutsche Bank in the Private and Business Clients division in Frankfurt and Madrid from 2010 to 2016. She studied business administration at the University of Mannheim and the Guanghua School of Management in Beijing, and completed her doctorate at the Leipzig Graduate School of Management in 2016.

Julian Eicke is Specialist Digital Assets DLT Blockchain at DZ BANK AG, a position he has held since January 2023. Based in Frankfurt, he works within the Engineering and Technical department, focusing on digital assets, distributed ledger technology, and blockchain. DZ BANK AG functions as the central bank for more than 700 cooperative banks in Germany.

Prior to joining DZ BANK, Eicke spent two and a half years as a Business Analyst at valantic in Frankfurt, where he worked within a consulting capacity. Before that, he held two roles at Sparkasse: Controller from June 2018 to June 2020, and IT-Administrator from January 2017 to June 2018. His total professional experience spans approximately nine years. Eicke holds a Master of Science in Data Analytics & Management from Frankfurt School of Finance & Management and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from PFH Private Hochschule Göttingen.
