Stefan Grasmann

Stefan Grasmann is Group Head of Thought Leadership and Chief of Blockchain at Zühlke, roles he has held since January 2024. He leads Zühlke's global thought leadership programme and drives strategic thinking at the intersection of blockchain, digital assets, and financial infrastructure. He co-founded Blockchain:Circle, a cross-industry forum focused on real-world Web3 use cases. He is a regular speaker and moderator at international events, including the Singapore Fintech Festival, where he has participated in panels on institutional digital assets and programmable capital markets. He also shares perspectives through podcasts, articles, and executive workshops.

Grasmann has been a Partner at Zühlke since July 2012. Prior to his current roles, he served as Managing Director Technology in Germany from April 2022 to January 2024, and as Blockchain Business Lead from July 2021 to January 2024. He has been engaged with blockchain since 2017 as an investor, DeFi participant, NFT collector, and member of several DAOs. Earlier at Zühlke, he held the role of Managing Director of the Competence Center in Germany from January 2015 to March 2022, and before that managed the Connected Solutions and .NET Solutions business units. He began his career at Delta Information Systems, where he worked from 1996 to 2002 as a software developer and development lead. He studied Computer Science at TU Darmstadt from 1990 to 1995.
