Thibault Leboucher

Thibault Leboucher is Internal Consultant Web3 Cryptoassets at Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, based in Brest, France, a position he has held since July 2023. In this role, he conducts strategic monitoring through the reading of industry reports and studies, and participates in sector events including Surfin Bitcoin, EthCC, NFT Paris, Crypto Day, and FD3, as well as private interbankary working groups focused on DeFi. He also leads internal education on Web3 topics, delivering workshops, presentations, and dedicated events for senior executives and employees across the group and its subsidiaries.

Prior to his current mandate, Leboucher served as Product Owner within Crédit Mutuel Arkéa's payment card issuance squad from October 2019 to July 2023, where he was responsible for planning and prioritising activities for a 14-person agile team covering card product definition, creation, and production, including virtual card systems, mobile payment integrations (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Fitbit Pay, Garmin Pay), Mastercard and Visa programmes, and card APIs. Before joining Crédit Mutuel Arkéa, he worked as IT Project Manager at CSB Calédonienne de Services Bancaires in Nouméa, New Caledonia from June 2018 to July 2019, where he contributed to the finalisation of the HPS payment card information system, anti-fraud projects, and regulatory updates. He holds an engineering degree from École Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen.
