Tobias Tenner

Head of Digital Finance

Tobias Tenner is Head of Digital Finance at the Association of German Banks (BdB), a position he has held since April 2016. He leads the Digital Finance department, which operates as a think tank covering topics including tokenisation, decentralised finance, AI, CBDCs, and digital sovereignty.

Prior to joining the Association of German Banks, Tenner served as Manager of Strategy Operations at PricewaterhouseCoopers from June 2011 to March 2016, where he was responsible for digital transformation projects. Before that, he worked as a Senior Consultant in capital markets at NTT DATA DACH from April 2009 to May 2011, and as an Inhouse Consultant at M.M.Warburg & CO from November 2006 to March 2009. He began his career as a broker on the stock exchange. Tenner holds a degree in economics and business administration.
