Tuğba Çardak

Tuğba Çardak is Head of Digital Asset Custody Application Developer at Yapı Kredi Teknoloji, a position she has held since April 2025. Her role sits within the Engineering and Technical department at the head level, focused on digital asset custody application development at the banking technology subsidiary.

Prior to this appointment, Çardak spent nearly six years at Yapı Kredi as a Treasury Software Developer, where she worked as a specialist in the Engineering and Technical department from June 2019 to May 2025. Before joining Yapı Kredi, she held a Treasury Software Developer role at Akbank from September 2016 to June 2019, also at the specialist level. Her earlier experience includes a two-month internship in IT investment application development at Akbank and a one-month internship at Uyumsoft Bilgi Sistemleri, a software solutions provider. Çardak holds a degree in Computer Engineering from İstanbul Üniversitesi, where she studied from 2012 to 2017. Her career spans just under ten years in banking technology, with a consistent focus on software development within financial institutions.
