CEO & Co-founder
Michael Shaulov is Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Fireblocks, a digital asset infrastructure company he co-founded in 2018. At Fireblocks, he leads the company's strategy to provide secure infrastructure for institutional clients to move, store, and issue digital assets. The platform serves financial institutions including exchanges, lending desks, custodians, banks, trading desks, and hedge funds, offering MPC-based wallet infrastructure, custody, payments, and tokenization solutions.
Prior to Fireblocks, Shaulov co-founded Lacoon Mobile Security, an enterprise mobile security company, serving as its CEO. Lacoon was acquired by Check Point Software Technologies in 2015. Following the acquisition, he joined Check Point as Head of Mobility Product Management, then was promoted to Head of Products for Mobile and Cloud Security, a role he held from 2016 to 2018. Earlier in his career, he worked at NICE Systems from 2008 to 2011 as a cellular technology and security team leader. Before that, he served in the Israeli Military Intelligence from 2001 to 2005 as a software team leader in Unit 8200, where he led development teams on mission-critical systems and received the Israeli Presidential Excellency Honor for his contributions. He is also a seed investor in cybersecurity companies including Talon Cyber Security and Wing Security. Shaulov holds a BSc in Computer Science and Physics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, graduating in 2009.
