Rahul Kumar

Head of Digital Assets MENA

Rahul Kumar is Head of Digital Assets MENA at Capital.com, a position he has held since June 2025, based in the United Arab Emirates. His mandate is to launch a Digital Assets proposition in the Middle East for the platform. He holds a degree from The University of Edinburgh and is based in the United Kingdom.

Prior to Capital.com, Kumar served as Head of Strategy, Wealth and Trading at Liv, Emirates NBD's digital bank, from January 2023 to May 2025. In that role, he launched the first crypto retail offering by a legacy banking group in the region. Before that, he was Senior Manager, Wealth and Trading at Revolut from May 2021 to December 2022, where he led global affairs for UK Trading, covering authorisations, expansion, regulatory and public affairs, and successfully submitted a crypto licence application in Cyprus for an EU crypto hub. His total professional experience spans approximately 13 years.
